StatSoft is a free online statistics textbook.  It covers basic concepts of statistics such as correlations through advanced topics such as quality control charts.  This site is a great reference tool for students taking statistic courses and even management majors who need to use statistics in their field.

Khan Academy

The website was started by Salman Khan who was tutoring his cousins across the country.  He posted lessons on YouTube so that his cousins would be able to view at their own pace. Khan began receiving feedback from strangers about how useful these videos.  After Khan realized that a lot of people can benefit from his videos, he founded Khan Academy.  This non-profit organization provides over 2,000 videos and tutorials of subjects ranging from grade school biology and mathematics to college level calculus and economics, all of which are free.

Our nation's capital website provides immense amount of information.  This site has topics ranging from current issues and politics to information about the current administration and our President.  Being knowledgeable and informed about our government helps when we are about to vote.  The blog on the site provides a variety of discussions and details of the progress of our country.  Overall, whitehouse.gov is good reference material regarding our national government.

TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) are global conferences held all over the world in order to share new ideas.  Many of these conferences have been made available for viewing online on the TED website.  Many famous people such as Bill Gates and Michelle Obama have spoken at these conferences.  Many new ideas have been put out to the world in these conferences.  Topics range from the latest technological interfaces and more ecological ways of generating electricity to how to better education and solving global problems.
